Dubois, WY – Range will invest $2.1 million this year to build out our Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network in Dixon, Savery and the surrounding area. Construction began this week on this network that will replace the traditional copper-based infrastructure. Once the entire project is complete, over 150 homes and businesses in Dixon and Savory will have access to internet speeds up to 1 Gbps (1,000 Mbps), which is 100 times faster than the average speed available in Wyoming.
Fiber cut overs will be made by the end of 2020 and will give over 150 customers access to our fiber network.
Range customers in Dixon and Savery do not need to sign up to be included in the FTTH network, and there is no cost to the customer for the upgrades. “Range is continuing to move forward with our Fiber-to-the-Home networks in Baggs. We are deeply committed to the communities we serve and realize that upgrading these rural areas of Wyoming with fiber optic networks provide an unmatched advantage to our customers,” stated Adria Trembly, Regional Manager.
