DTE World offers various consulting services designed to provide clients with a clear understanding of what to expect from their web site, how-to information on web site performance and effectiveness and solutions to improve your site effectiveness. Web Site Analysis:
This service is available for web pages designed by someone other than DTE World and includes web pages hosted with another IPP (Internet Presence Provider).
Service includes:
Load Speed Analysis; includes a report of the load speeds and files causing extremely slow speeds with recommendations on how to lessen load time.
HTML (Hypertext Mark-up Language) Check; check code for nesting errors, check spelling and links. A copy of the source code with recommended changes will be provided.
This service is priced by the hour.
Web Site Ranking:
This service is available for web pages designed by someone other than DTE World and includes web pages hosted with another IPP (Internet Presence Provider). Site Ranking can be provided for the main page and/or sub-pages of a site.
Service includes:
Web Site Indexing; check that the web site is listed with major directory service and search engine indexes.
Ranking is checked using the same four (4) appropriate keyword phrases within each indexing services where the site has been indexed.
A report based on indexing will indicate ranking for each set of keyword phrases.
Unless the client has paid for a listing, pay-for-listing engines will not be checked.
This service is priced by the hour.
Web Design:
This service is available to anyone interested in a new web page or updating an existing page and provides insight to design elements including browser compatibility, ease of navigation and content.
Service includes:
Information to determine if a web site is needed, the advantages and/or disadvantages of registering a domain name. DTE World can also help you know what to expect from your site. Whether you have a site developed by DTE World or some other company DTE World can answer your questions and ensure you have the understanding you need to launch a successful web site. We can help you prevent some of the common mistakes and avoid spending more time and money than you need to .
Internet Promotion Services
Web Site Promotion:
This service is available to any web page regardless of host or designer.
Service includes:
Establish existing indexing and ranking for the site based on four (4) keywords/keyword phrases.
An analysis will be made for site readiness for submitting/resubmitting based on current algorythms (processing logic used by each search engine).
When ready the site will be submitted for indexing to the major directory services as well as non-pay primary search engines. Indexing can take anywhere from 2 days to 12 weeks depending on the targeted engine's activity level.
A report of successful indexing will be kept and provided to the client.
Web Site ranking will be monitored after the site is successfully indexed and recommendations will be made as to increasing the ranking within those services. The site will be resubmitted after the changes have been made for each group of indexing services and ranking will be monitored with a mointhly report provided to the client.
This service is priced on a monthly basis for each set of four (4) keyword/keyword phrases.
Activity Analysis:
This service is for web pages/sites hosted on DTE World servers only.
Service includes:
An Analysis report from DTE World server logs and formatted to provide a monthly report of website activity.
A report tutorial will be included with the service to show clients how to read the report.
The service is priced on a monthly basis with a one-time set-up fee for each profile.
This service is priced on a monthly basis and has a one-time set-up fee.
